how to play

This is a board game with cards for 2-4 players (or teams) to practise talking about Christmas in English.

  • Shuffle question cards and put in a pile face down.
  • Take a turn by flipping a coin (heads = move 1 space; tails = move 2 spaces).
  • When you land on a square with the hat, you take a card from the top of the pile. Read the question, for example: Where do kids find their present? Then you have to give the correct answer, for example: In their stockings.
  • If you are right, don't move.
  • If you are wrong, move back one space.
  • The winner is the first player to reach the finish.
