This flashcard game idea can be adapted to any language concept (in this case, to our Months of the Year topic). The instructions below are just a starting point to inspire you.

Put your set of flashcards in the box. Hand out a set of flashcards to individual kids.
Students place their cards on their desks face up in any order.
To begin the game, reach into the box and pull out any card. Look at the picture on it and say, for example, I spy a bear dressed for winter.
Kids should hold up the correct card.
