Flashcards are a handy, versatile resource often used in English language teaching, especially with young learners. They are great for presenting, practising or revising new language. And they make learning fun! You can use them to play different word games such as memory, matching or guessing games.
Check out our collection of over 40 flashcard sets. Each one focuses on a particular topic, for example, Describing people or Months of the year. Although designed as accessories (such as picture, word, question, task cards) for our classroom games, they can be used separately in any way you want and need.
There are two kinds of flashcards to choose from. Our plain cards are double-sided with pictures, words, questions or tasks on one side and colourful patterns on the other. The self-checking cards are double-sided too, with picture, word or text clues on one side and correct, possible or suggested answers on the other.
There are also lots of ideas and suggestions for using our flashcards in class or at home.
